The position will be that of the senior legal advisor to Securitas North America and will be responsible for the management and coordination of the legal affairs for three countries (Canada, Mexico and the US) and for multiple protective services business lines (on site guarding, mobile guarding, electronic security, government and corporate risk management). The North American legal function consists of a total of 24 attorneys and 30 additional staff employees. A critical role of the legal function is to support the divisional management team's strategy of providing a global solution to clients' protective services needs by providing global customer contract and related legal solutions which reflect this strategy. Specific responsibilities will include overseeing compliance with Canadian, Mexican and US regulatory requirements, compliance with group policies, corporate governance and structure, managing the legal relationships between the business lines, managing the legal relationship with the group's auditors, developing strategies for high value litigations and overseeing the professional development of all attorneys in the division. The position will report to the General Counsel for Securitas AB.
