| Provide legal support within Human Resources, Contracts, and Real Estate General knowledge of federal and state employment laws Monitor changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure company policies remain compliant Advise HR and Management on employment law issues, including hiring, performance management, terminations, wage and hour compliance, accommodations, and employee relations We are seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel in Cinnaminson, NJ. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years’ experience practicing law, be team centered, and results driven. Associate Corporate Counsel Location: Cinnaminson, NJ Job Code: 25-142-96A Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide legal support within Human Resources, Contracts, and Real Estate General knowledge of federal and state employment laws Monitor changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure company policies remain compliant Advise HR and Management on employment law issues, including hiring, performance management, terminations, wage and hour compliance, accommodations, and employee relations Partner with HR to draft, review and update employment-related documents such as offer letters, employment agreements, and employee handbooks Support internal investigations and disciplinary actions Collaborate with outside counsel on complex legal matters Work with the Contracts department to negotiate, execute, and record agreements Support Sales team as needed Legal document review and support for Subpoenas-RFI, Affidavits, Tracking Work with Purchasing to review and revise vendor contracts Review real estate transactions, building purchase agreements and agreements related to construction matters Lease review and negotiation, from both the Tenant and Landlord perspectives Formation of LLC’s to own any newly acquired real property Requirements: Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney with a strong focus on employment law Active NJ Bar License Required Strong analytical reasoning, writing, and organizational skills are essential High integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to supporting mission-driven work Exceptional communication skills required Background check and Drug Screen is required $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year. 78768 |
