| We are seeking an attorney to join a Workers’ Compensation legal team, ideally someone looking to learn, collaborate, and support policyholders. Candidates should have 0–3 years of experience in workers’ compensation or other litigation to defend formal claims venued in northern New Jersey. Staff Attorney, Workers' Compensation Claims Location: Parsippany,NJ Job Type: Full time Job Responsibilities: Defend the interests of policyholders in New Jersey workers’ compensation court through the point of settlement or decision Work with staff in the preparation of pleadings, motions, briefs, and other documents Provide case recommendations, updates, and analysis to clients and internal Workers’ Compensation Claims staff Build and maintain strong internal and external client relationships Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements: 0-3 years of prior litigation or legal experience. Workers’ compensation and/or personal injury litigation experience is a plus. Currently licensed to practice law in NJ Analytical ability and strong attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong negotiation, communication and legal research skills Ability to travel within the state and cover multiple counties Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials.
